Bad Credit Unsecured Loan Despite, Financial Respite

It is the changing nature of man that he is susceptible to forget things in between. It happens more often than not, of taking various loans as per ones requirements; the man defers repayments due to lacking financial planning. Or, there are some who wish not to place any thing, still for availing a loan. For, the lending authority has configured a bad credit unsecured loan. This loan is offered without any sort of security placing.

Individuals having adverse credit history i.e., CCJs, IVAs, bankrupts, arrears, and defaulters attest special attention to the bad credit unsecured loan. Although, provisioning contains credit evaluation and borrowers repayment capacity and capability, owing to many lenders in money market for this loan gives a good attention to has shortened the processing time of the bad credit unsecured loan.

Amount raised by the lending authority under the bad credit unsecured loan is a minimum of 3, 000; this amount can be further increased up to 25, 000 too at best. The benefits of these loan amount borrowers get a period from 5 to 10 years.

This sanctioned amount is invested into various purposes of an individual. Renovation and improvement at home, childrens higher education, infrastructural development at businesses etc., are some of the benefits of the bad credit unsecured loan. More so, an act of debt consolidation under the bad credit unsecured loan too, is one of the best debt management a solution comes within the parameters of this loan.

In order to cover up the insurance of the bad credit unsecured loan, lenders charge a bit higher to other loans, as no collateral has been placed as of borrowers security. Lenders do not ask borrowers to offer any asset as security against bad credit unsecured loan offered. Lenders rely on borrowers profile, evaluate through information such as employment history, income level, recommendations, final payment of any previous loans etc. however, if a borrower defaults on a bad credit unsecured loan, the lender has no priority claim against any particular property of the borrower. The lender can try to obtain just a money judgement against the borrower. In such loans, the risk element is the highest for the lenders. Such lenders compensate their increased risk by offering lower amount and by charging a little higher interest. Lenders provide bad credit unsecured loan financial respite despite borrowers adversity of bad credits.

How to Make a Fortune in the Internet Marketing "Gold Mine"

It is a well known fact that in the gold rush days of the Old West, most of the fortunes were made not by the gold miners themselves, but by the people and companies that supplied the tools and equipment the gold miners needed. Some, such as Levi Strauss and John Mohler Studebaker, became household names. The tools of the time included pick axes, wheel barrows and clothing.

Knowing this, and hoping to find my own fortune, I went in search of the "gold miners" of today. I looked high and low, read everything I could get my hands on, and finally, it came to me! Every day thousands and thousands of individuals go in search of their fortunes on the internet marketiing "gold mine." Then, I asked myself, "What are the tools today's gold miners need?" I came up with 5 key tools that everyone who is marketing on the internet needs.

First, they need a domain name. A domain is where you live on the internet. It is your address on the internet. It looks something like www.yourdomain.com. This is a unique name that belongs only to you. It is as unique as your home address, phone number, or Social Security number are. No one else has this domain name, except you. All of your webpages with associated graphics and documents are placed on your domain, so people can visit your website.

Secondly, they need a web hosting account. The internet works through servers - computers that are always online for the world to access. Your personal computer can access the internet, but the internet (generally) cannot access your computer. In order to make your website available to the world, you must first upload your domain to a host, or "webspace". Web hosts provide space on their servers so you can upload your webpages, graphics, audio, video, and text documents to your domain, enabling other people to access them via the internet.

The third tool they will need is an autoresponder. An autoresponder will automatically send a series of emails to potential customers who have signed up to receive them on a form on your website. Only a small percentage of visitors to your site will join on the first contact. Studies have shown time after time, people will still be signing up after 7 or more contacts. If you advertise only your affiliate link, you are losing out on a lot of potential money. Most prospect(or)s don't buy on their first visit, but they might submit their names and email addresses to get free information. With a good follow up system, you can convert several times more prospects into customers than one time visitors.

The next thing all modern gold miners will need is traffic. In order to get traffic, they will need to advertise. Without a way to get visitors to your site, no matter how good the site is, it would be worthless. No visitors, means no sales. There are numerous methods of advertising on the internet. We'll explore some of the paid methods here. There is pay-per-click. This means that everytime someone clicks on your advertisement, you are charged. Another type is traffic exchanges. Most traffic exchanges give you advertising credits in exchange for viewing other marketers ads. Some are completely free, while others charge a fee for premium services not available to free members. E-zine advertising is another type of advertising. This includes classifed and solo ads. Others who have built a large list or base of subscribers to a newsletter often sell advertising space. Classified ads are much like newspaper classifieds. Price is often determined by where they are placed. They are also called top sponsor, middle sponser or bottom sponsor. A solo ad, like the name implies, is sent to the subscriber list all by itself. These can be highly effective when targeted to the right market.

Lastly, they need a system. A system is an organized, established procedure that produces predictable results, no matter who is using it. Most successful internet marketing systems utilize advertising to drive traffic to a website, more specifically to a lead capture page (also known as a squeeze page), which entices the visitor to sign up to your mailing list. This, in turn, is usually connected to an autoresponder loaded with messages designed to build a relationship with the (potential) customer - and of course, make sales, all basically on auto-pilot.

You don't have to re-invent the wheel, create your own tools or even sell every tool to every miner out there. There are plenty of quality, established ones available already that will pay you a commission just for referring the prospect(or)s to them. All you need to do is find a way to supply the modern internet marketers/gold miners with any or all of these tools, and you may be on your way to your own fortune.

Andrew Saari will show you the secret to getting your web hosting provider to send YOU a check each and every month, make money from your domain name and get free advertising for your website. Visit http://www.3-Steps-to-Profits.com.Perrine Blog89102

The 2nd Most Important Travel Item - Next To Your Passport

Its a given that for travellers, the most important item they need to bring at all times would be their passport. Not only is this a valid form of identification, without this, they would not be permitted to go in and out of any country. After making sure that the passport is safely tucked inside their bag, what else should a traveller bring? Apart from his plane ticket, a traveller should always have a source of funds.

Traditionally, travellers would use either cold cash (converted to local currency) or travellers checks. These were sound ways to conduct business although each had their own pros and cons. The problem with carrying cash is that you will always be concerned about your wallet you may miss out on enjoying your vacation. With travellers checks, on the other hand, not all establishments honour these. The problem for both is that, when you run out of cash or travellers checks, youre vacation is doomed. Nowadays, travellers no longer need to contend with bulky wallets or dwindling travellers checks because they have credit cards.

Credit cards are virtual necessities for the tourist of today. Not only do cards give the holder the power to make purchases anywhere and anytime (as most are accepted by establishments the world over), they are also very handy (does not take up too much space in any purse or wallet) and quite safe to use.

Knowing that majority of travellers now prefer to carry plastic money instead of hard cash, credit card companies have taken it upon themselves to sweeten an already sweet deal. Through travel credit cards, card holders (especially those who travel a lot) not only get a sense of financial security even when they are away; they receive something back for every dollar purchase they make.

Just like earning rewards points, travel credit cards allow card holders to accumulate points which they can then redeem against a selected list of products or, depending on the internal arrangement of the card company and the airline frequent traveller program, convert these to mileage points. Some cards may even give card holders free upgrades in their hotel accommodation.

Travel credit cards were not exclusively created for frequent fliers. Even those who only dream of going places are welcome to use them, although they may not feel nor appreciate the benefits as much as those who belong in the target market. Non travellers can use these cards and, when the time is right, cash in on the points they have accumulated through the years.

There are many travel credit cards in the market and it is difficult to choose one based on hear-say or on gut feel. You have to evaluate the individual offers, determine which one best suits your lifestyle and your travel patterns. You should also try to see which card has existing tie ups with affiliates (hotels, restaurants, boutiques) you frequent. This allows you to maximize the benefits these cards offer. If you dont want to be burdened with several brochures from different banks, you can do your research on line. There are several websites that list down the travel cards available in the market and, alongside each card, are some basic information, their promotions, and a summary of their benefits. This brief yet concise format makes comparing cards easier for the consumer.

CardsRatings.net website is owned and run by Gloria Smith. At CardRatings.net you will find a listing of over 100 credit cards. Through Card Ratings comparing and applying for a credit card is made easier. After comparing the credit card offers on site, you can immediately apply for the credit card of your choice by clicking the Apply Online button. All applications are secure, and usually, a response will be sent to you right away. To apply for a Travel Credit Card, please visit: http://www.cardratings.net/rtravel.htm. Quinta Blog46028

HSMP Suspended

The Home Office has suspended the Highly Skilled Migrant Scheme (HSMP) for 27 days, pending the introduction of a revised scheme on 5th December 2006. No further current applications will be accepted after today, giving the Home Office time to clear the backlog of existing cases.

The news was announced, without prior notice, on the Home Office website this morning leaving applicants no time to submit applications under the present rules.

John Larkins, IND Managed Migration Business Architect, relayed the information to a stunned group of Immigration Advisers at the annual conference of the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) in London this morning.

Many advisers reacted angrily to the news accusing the Home Office of working against advisers by once again making important changes without warning.

Mr Larkins defended the Home Office saying that giving notice of impending changes only causes closing down sales which flood the Home Office with applications.

When questioned about whether the new rules would be tougher and require a higher standard of qualification, Mr Larkins simply said they would be different.

For more news on how this decision could affect your HSMP application contact your adviser or visit the Home Office website.

What You Must Do When Traveling With Seniors

Traveling with your parents can be a wonderful experience if you plan well ahead. Here are five things you must do to ensure that you and your parents will have a great vacation.

1. Ensure that the itinerary is not too fast paced.

Older folks tend to get tired easily and thus it is not advisable to include activities that are too strenuous. It is also not advisable to pack too many activities in the itinerary such that you and your parents have to rush from one place to another.

2. Ensure that everyone has ample sleep

Plan to have at least six to eight hours of sleep for you and your parents for each day of your vacation. Try to avoid having any more activities after 11 p.m. Prepare some hot water for your parents to soak their legs before bed time if there is a fair amount of walking in the day.

3. Have ample supply of their medication

If your parents are suffering from diabetes, asthma, hypertension, high cholesterol or any other illness, make sure you obtain ample supply of medication from their doctors to last for the whole trip. To ensure that you remember to bring the medication, create a checklist of things to bring and put their medication among the top five items on that list. As a safety precaution, ask them to carry a medical record of their illness and contact details in case you are not around when they need medical attention.

4. Healthy diet

Most older people do not take heavy meals and thus you need to plan for multiple light and healthy meals that are low on salts, oil and sugars but high in fiber. Always have a sandwich or high fiber biscuits in your bag in case they get hungry and there isn't a snack bar in the vicinity. Also make sure that you and your parents drink a lot of water to prevent dehydration.

5. Bring along a first aid travel pack.

Your first aid travel pack should contain medication for fever and diarrhea, cold symptoms and giddiness. It should also include a thermometer, tweezers, sharp scissors, safety pins, adhesive bandages, sterile gauze, adhesive tape and antiseptic wipes. While this list is not exhaustive, the stocks in the travel pack should be enough to cater to most conditions that require general first aid assistance. Do check the expiry date for those medications that you bring along to ensure that they are safe for consumption.

Traveling with your parents need not be a hassle as long as you plan ahead and take care of their needs. Involve them in all the activities along the way and remember to have fun!

Holiday Travel Tips

The holidays are just around the corner and now is the time to start planning your holiday travel strategy. It's easier to get air travel and hotel reservations if you book well in advance of your trip. This usually assures you of securing the lowest-priced airline seats, hotel rooms and rental cars that usually sell out quickly for holiday travel. (Be aware that prices generally escalate during the holiday season, as demand is higher.)

If at all possible avoid peak travel days. The busiest days to fly are those immediately before and after the actual holidays. If you can, book your flights two days before and after Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's.

Choose a non-stop flight if available, or one involving the fewest connections and stops. Every time your plane touches the ground during peak travel times, the possibility of delays due to inclement weather or air-traffic problems increases. Also, it's best to book morning flights, which tend to be delayed less often than afternoon departures. Secure advance seat assignments to insure you are sitting with your family on the plane.

During the holidays flights are sometimes overbooked so its critical to check in early. Domestic travelers should arrive at the airport two hours prior to departure and international travelers should arrive three hours in advance.

Packing light saves time and energy. One tip for packing lighter is to ship your gifts to your destination ahead of time. If you choose not to send your gifts ahead, then do not wrap them before the flight. With safety a priority for all airlines, security personnel will need access to all items.

Keep a positive attitude, but also be ready for setbacks. Delays happen, and airlines do the best they can to keep their schedules on time.

Dont Compromise On Motorcycle Racing Gear

The finest motorcycle racing gear is seen on the race tracks, and why not. The riders are aware of the dangers of skidding or colliding at high speeds, and take great precautions to protect their vital organs. Almost every accessory from helmets to motorcycle boots has extra protection.

The helmet is the most critical. You cannot sport a DOT certified helmet and hope to take part in a racing event. Almost every racing federation lays down the minimum rating that is acceptable. This rating is laid down by Snell Foundation, and is indicated on the inside of race helmets.

All riders ensure that the helmets they use fit snugly on their heads. There are no spaces between the cheeks and the padding. Most important, the helmet stays on the head, and does not roll off in case the bike skids or the rider hits an object.

It is equally important to have a clear view of the field. This involves not only a front view but also a side view. Often, riders get involved in an accident because the helmet walls reduce the side view.

The riders then need to protect their vulnerable parts like knees, elbows and shoulders. For this, they need specially designed racing suits that are made of thick leather and have heavy padding around elbows, shoulders, and knees. This armor is firmly sewn into the racing suit and does not slip off.

Another important requirement of racing suits is flexibility, especially in the arms and the shoulder region, not to mention the knees and the legs. These are the body parts that need highest flexibility, especially when the bike is in motion.

Equally important are the motorcycle boots. Almost every rider wears ankle-high boots because of the extra protection that these boots bring. These boots come with an extra lining, and have soles that are usually welded into the uppers so that they dont fall away in case the rider drags his feet along the ground.

Another important part of a bikers racing gear is gloves. These give the riders a proper grip, and help them manage throttle, clutch, brake, and turning operations smoothly. The racing gloves come with extra padding on the palms and finger backs to avoid bruising in case of a spill.

Every rider must ensure that they buy the best racing gear. It can make a big difference between life and death in case of an accident.

Travel Clocks: A Small Piece Of Home On The Road

As the business world gets smaller due to the advance and connectivity of the internet, the modern business person finds themselves traveling greater distances to close deals. With more road warriors away from home more people are looking to bring a piece of home with them. So when youre packing for your next trip, remember to bring a travel clock along with your travel candles and photographs of family and friends.

By taking steps to make your journey less impersonal like packing items from home, the trip may seem shorter and youll be less likely to get homesick. A travel clock is a great way to bring a piece of home with you. Wake up calls in the morning are usually a loud reminder each morning that you are not in your own bed. By bringing your own travel clock, you get to ease into your day rather than pick up a receiver and hear a strange voice.

If you have children who may miss you while youre gone on business trips, involve them in your trip by taking them shopping for travel supplies with you. Your kids will appreciate being a part of the traveling process so much more than a quick hug and kiss on your way out the door. And if you have your child pick out a travel clock, you will think of them every time it goes off.

A travel clock can help you keep time from your trip from Los Angeles to Miami or on your commuter flight from Detroit to D.C. With new innovations in technology there are travel clocks available that will automatically update themselves through different time zones and sync up official government time, so you always know what time it is, no matter where you are.

So the next time your employer lets you know youll be traveling on an overnight trip, dont forget to pack a small piece of home by including a travel clock in your suitcase. Be sure to choose an alarm that will wake you up gently. The morning youre awakened by a piece of home, rather than a piercing jangle of a phone and a recording, youll be happy you brought along your travel clock.

Branding Lessons For Attracting Quality Women Online

Q: What dont great brands have to do?

A: Sell themselves.

Coke doesnt have to advertise flavor. It associates itself with happy images. Apple doesnt have to detail its great functionalities. It can just contrast itself with a clunky PC Bill-Gates stand-in.

Its exactly the same thing with dating.

In fact, its even more important in dating.

If you find yourself selling yourself youre selling yourself short.

And turning away women.

Women secretly hate it when you sell yourself. When you list your attributes. They sense weakness in the song and dance.

As always, online profiles are a great way to measure what guys are doing offline. So many guys profiles read like this

Hi, I am a really great guy. A diamond in the rough! One of a kind. I can do a hundred push-ups. I dress really well! I drive a BMW. I am kind and sensitive and manly!

In person, women may act like they are flattered when men dance for them like this. But what they like is the temporary power such flattery makes them feel.

The kind of power that vanishes the second the interaction is over -- because now they are left empty of that experience. All they retain is the uncomfortable feeling that you are submissive and dorky. They liked the feeling for a moment, but selling yourself leaves them feeling no connection at all, no sense of the solid man behind the show.

Go read twenty other guys ads. They almost all focus on listing their attributes. Very data-centric. Very puffed-up feathers, wild animal display behavior.

And very, very ineffective. Why?

Because the choose me! Buy me! advertising bullets that clutter most guys profiles blur one into the next. The effect is not only as if you are a car salesman or a vacuum salesman, but a salesman among a thousand others!

And anyway, is that how you want her to perceive you? As a floor salesman? As a carnie? A sidewalk hawker?

Think for a moment: in our culture, are those powerful, attractive models of manhood?

No. What else is wrong with the Im so great buy me! pattern of online personals writing? Well, from a semiotic point of view, many things:

*Facts are boring to women, they want feeling.

*Facts are bare, they are not contextualized into a story of who you are. Stories and fantasy visions are compelling and exciting!

*Facts are a writing no-no they are stated, or said, not shown and as any writer will tell you, the only power is in showing, not telling. You must show or demonstrate your attributes by what you write and how you write. It must be indirect, or a result of who you are. You must not blabber about how great you are.

*Your facts are unsubstantiated. Theres no back up. No testimonials.

Why should she believe you? Think about this

Can you imagine an infomercial where someone like Tony Robbins gets up for 30 minutes and just says how freakin fantastic he is?! How annoying and non-convincing would that be? Now throw in Nelson Mandela and movie producers and CEOs of Fortune 500 Companies interspersed in this commercial and now you have powerful selling. Because Tony, in the mind of the viewer, isnt selling himself.

Instead, become The Desirable Brand.

Or, as genius internet marketer, Alex Mandossian, says,

Educate Overtly; Sell Covertly.

What is your target market?

Any marketing expert knows two things:

1. Only a fool creates a product and casts around for a market.

2. The truly brilliant marketers find the market need first and then fulfill that need.

How do you apply this to dating? The easiest way in the world is with online dating, where women actually tell you exactly what they want in a man!

All you have to do is read their profiles very, very closely. Read between the lines, identify what they desire in a man. Are they asking for humor? Quiet authority? Love of dogs or animals?

Find the women who you want to meet and write your profile according to what they desire. Throw in how much you like dogs dont SAY it write about a time you were with your dog and were happy by a lake, on a trail.

Or if she says she loves a tv show, Scrubs, for example, show some insight into the show when you email her recall an anecdote or great line that means something to you and let her know why.

You dont say Hi! I like dogs, arent I great! Or, Hey! I love Scrubs too, dont we have so much in common!

The key to being a successful, non-self advertising brand:

Express yourself, dont advertise yourself.

And let her come to you, the attractive brand.

Watch Movies, Music, Sports All4Free On Your PC

With your computer you can watch movies, music, sports all4free on your PC, which is what I do. I don't have to pay any monthly satellite subscription payments or any other recurring payments ever.

There are over 3000 stations I can choose from to watch (Movies, Sports, Music, Clips, News, Radio, etc.) from all over the world including local, regional and international broadcasts.

I can watch over 40 music channels with this software plus includes masses of radio stations as well.

Do you like baseball which has it's own baseball channel TV, basketball NBA TV, hockey NHL, football offcourse live games, soccer which has most English Premier League games live if two or more are on the same time you choose which one you want to see, tennis or even athletics, what about boxing, whatever the sport you can watch until your hearts content.

All you need to be able to connect to a world of television is a computer with Internet access. Repayment to Begin on Student Loans; NextStudent offers Options

For many recent college graduates the repayment period on their student loans is about to begin due to the end of the six-month grace period. As many graduates find their student loan payment booklets in their mailboxes, which typically arrive approximately 30 to 60 days before the first due date for payment, it is important for graduates to make their payments on time. Some graduates may be in a position to make the scheduled level repayment, while others will find themselves in a burdensome financial situation.

Phoenix-based NextStudent, the premier education funding company offers free advice and a variety of repayment options for students. Repaying student loans (http://www.nextstudent.com/student-loans/student-loans.asp) is serious business. However, there are various options depending on a graduates situation, most repayments are set to level repayment, unless otherwise noted.

Not every college graduate is settled into life after college, and not every graduate is employed. Some graduates still are searching for a job while others have moved home to save money. Life immediately after college can be a little stressful. There are so many things to get in order along with a new job, such as a place to live and a vehicle to get you where you need to go.

By contacting NextStudent after receipt of their payment booklet, graduates can speak to Education Finance Advisers and receive free guidance about the other available repayment plans. Income-sensitive and extended repayment plans are available by directly contacting the lender. With graduated repayment plans, graduates agree initially to pay lower payments. However, the payment amount increases every two years. This is a good choice for those graduates who feel or know that their salary will increase over time.

Forbearance is an option that graduates can use for any given reason. Graduates can use forbearance for up to three years. However, it is important to note that interest continues to accrue throughout the forbearance period.

There are those graduates who opt to defer their student loan payments. With deferment, student loan payments are postponed for a maximum of three years. While in deferment, interest will not accrue on subsidized loans. Graduates must show economic hardship to be eligible.

There are many available options for student loan repayment. NextStudent knows that when a grace period ends, it not always is the best time for graduates to repay their student loans. The Education Finance Advisers are there to help students and graduates with all the questions they may have regarding repayment and the options available to help make life easier and more manageable including student loan consolidation (http://www.nextstudent.com).

Online Dating For Busy Singles

Online dating is becoming very popular now.

An estimated 1 in 5 Americans are signed up to an online dating service meaning that, theoretically, if you're after a new date or just making new friends, you can have the pick of the bunch! Many busy Americans now increasingly rely on online dating service providers to find their matches.

No wonder, Internet has brought people of the world so closer and new concept of "speed dating" is evolved through internet dating to find a mate or simply a casual date.

Jessica Moore, in her mid-20s from New York City is one of the millions who are daily looking for date online. With her ravishing personality, it was not difficult for her to get "Mr. Right" for her. But she says online dating service provides her choice to select her "type" of person she could think of hanging out.

"Online dating sites help me to find someone from my location, the one who is doing his own business, having yearly income of not less than $150,000, who is a practicing Catholic Christian visiting church at least on every Sunday, someone who is a non-smoker and occasional drinker, and of course, who is serious in long term relationship", Jessica told.

According to industry expert, nearly 23 million people in the U.S. search online to find a date. One of the market leader companies, nearly 60,000 people, such as Jessica sign online daily. Other dating firms claim 10-15,000 people register their profiles at their sites.

As Jessica was going through her closet to find her favorite red long skirt, which she bought on her recent birthday, she told how she was feeling excited to meet with whom she has been dating online for couple of weeks. "When I came to New York city, I didn't know much about the city, its people. All I know about the city was that I saw it in movies, television or read," she said. "So, I just wanted to mingle with people, make new friends. Then I thought why shouldn't I give a chance to online dating. Maybe I can find someone who will of my interest," she smiled.

Jessica's colleagues, however, were skeptical of her dating online, since she told them she preferred traditional dating rather than internet dating.

"One fine evening, you see someone at cafe' or bar, you smile and you get positive response. Then you do some trick to get ball rolling. This all happens in traditional training; however, online dating is a different ball game." She acclaimed. "The advantage of online dating is that you know other person is equally interested in you. You do not need to try as hard as in traditional dating," she advised.

Though internet dating is not a new concept, it all started since the internet came into existence. In the beginning, people thought online dating as too hasty approach or too shallow. However, recent boom in online dating has proved them wrong. This could only be possible due to change in people's attitude towards online dating and their acceptance for online dating as a new mean of meeting people.

Soundproofing a condo or apartment from upstairs neighbors.

How do I soundproof my condo or apartment from my noisy neighbors upstairs? This is by far the most asked question I hear on a daily basis. It is a question asked by prominent architects, engineers, major developers, and contractors. We are now finding that this is also of major concern of individual homeowners who rent part of their house to tenants. Many factors need to be considered when assessing an upstairs noise issue. The first question you should ask is simply this, is the problem impact noise, or airborne noise (TV's, Stereos, telephones etc.) coming down from above. Nine times out of ten, impact noise is the main concern. What is impact noise? It is the noise caused by people or animals walking across the floor above (generally hardwood). This type of noise is considered to be structure borne noise and is one of the most difficult noises there is to soundproof from. Impact noise is basically sound that travels directly through the joisting structure from the floor above, directly into the hard mounted ceiling below. Another term for this is known as "foot fall "noise. Impact noise travels through the floor joists structure at speeds of over 1200 times greater than the transmission of sound traveling through ambient air. Keep in mind that most home joist systems as well as studded walls are generally 16 inches on center, so not only do you get the speed of the impact noise shooting downward, but the perfectly spaced joists act as tuning forks thus causing the sound to sustain (last longer) compounding the impact problem. The best and most effective way to stop impact noise from above is to isolate the joist structure and the floor above (which is generally hardwood) from the ceiling below. This can be accomplished in a variety of ways. The most common is to float (suspend on acoustical sound clips or resilient channels) the ceiling using either resilient isolation clips and furring channels (hat channel) or the most common method of floating, RC-1 (resilient channel). The good, the bad, and the ugly of both these methods will be discussed in depth. First we have the industry standard, which is RC-1 or resilient channel. This is a flanged Z channel (generally with only one flange that attaches to the joist) and a larger flange to support the floated drywall ceiling. RC-1 can be purchased from a drywall supply company, or a contractors supply house. The resilient channels are usually attached perpendicular to the joists and the rows are evenly spaced approximately 2' to 3' apart. The longer flange (of resilient channels) in a ceiling application will all face the same direction to obtain maximum resilience in the new ceiling assembly. Remember, that the longer flange is the one the drywall screws into. Always use screws when you drywall, never use nails. Once the RC-1 is properly installed across the entire ceiling, you are ready to drywall. The new drywall will be screwed directly through the drywall and into the resilient channel's (longer) 1" flange. You will use 1 to 1" self-tapping drywall screws or in rare cases, sheet metal screws. If the resilient (floated ceiling) is installed as per manufacturers instructions, there will be approximately a " gap around the entire perimeter of the new floated ceiling. The floated ceiling must never make direct contact with the adjoining walls. This is NOT negotiable folks. The " gap is then filled with an acoustical caulking, (OSI 175 is a good caulk for this application) and then finally the new ceiling will be taped, mudded, and painted just like a like a hard attached joist mounted drywall installation. The caulk is the interface between the resilient ceiling and the adjoining walls. There you have it, the common mans floated ceiling.

Now if you are really serious about soundproofing your ceiling, you have the sound clip and furring channel method of floating. This installation is quite similar to the RC-1 installation, however, the sound clips system will more than double the soundproofing and impact isolation protection of a perfectly installed RC-1 system. Basically you will need one sound clip for every 4 sq ft of ceiling area. For example, if your ceiling is 400 sq. ft. total, you will need 100 sound clips to complete the installation. Check with the manufacturers installations instructions for more detailed installation information. Once you have the sound clips screwed to the joists, you will then snap in the furring channel. We haven't talked much about metal furring channels or "hat" channel, as they are commonly called, so let me briefly describe this material. Furring channel, or hat channel is a galvanized steel channel that is 7/8" in height and measures 2 3/8" from flange to flange. When using furring channels in conjunction with sound clips, you always want to purchase the 25 gauge channels as opposed to the 20 gauge, which is too stiff for this application. The furring channel will be compressed by hand and will snap perfectly into the joist mounted sound clips. The channel rows will be spaced from 2' to 3' apart (check installation instructions). The first row will begin about 4" from the adjoining wall and then each row will be spaced from 2' to 3' apart. Now comes the fun part! You will screw the new drywall directly into the furring channel, keeping the screw as close to the center of the hat channel as possible. If the drywall meets directly in the middle of a channel, make sure to stagger the screws down the length of the drywalls (alternate them one each side of the seam). Now, just like with the RC-1 installation, you must maintain a " gap around the perimeter of the newly floated ceiling assembly where the drywall does not touch the adjoining walls. Once again, this area will be sealed with the OSI-175 acoustical caulking material, and you will tape, mud, and paint the ceiling as usual. There you have it folks, professional sound isolation at a fraction of the cost that the "Big Boys" charge. A good analogy of the floated ceiling method is to visualize your ceiling as being like a trampoline. The new ceiling must not contact the adjoining walls and thus it is free to do its resilient thing exclusively. Keep in mind that the impact isolation is accomplished at the sound clip and joist connection where there is a thick neoprene rubber grommet on the clip that breaks the circuit between the sub floor above and the newly floated ceiling.

Lastly, if you are able to float 2 layers of drywall on the sound clips, it is recommended that you use Green Glue sound dampening compound between the 2 layers of drywall. I hope this article has been informative and gives you hope that you can indeed soundproof you apartment or condo from those stomping neighbors upstairs.

Things To Do In Singapore

The best way to explore Singapore is to do what the locals do. Thats right, do things that are non-touristy. I have compiled a list of places and things to do in Singapore that are mostly free, other than a bottle of drink and transport fares. Hope you will find them useful and have fun!

1. Grab your 20 mega pixel camera and head down to Chinatown .... ok, ok, 2 million pixel is just as good. Take some pictures of the old shops and their almost 90 degrees staircases. If you like taking pictures of elderly people, there are many sitting around the wet market doing nothing.

2. Go to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve for mountain biking or walk around and smell the green. Bring a bottle of water and shades.

3. Take a ferry (cost only $2) to Pulau Ubin and explore the island. You can also rent a bike or worn out motocycle. Try taking a taxi if you can find one, they can climb rough terrains better than jeeps. Explore some of the Malay kampungs and prawn farms.

4. Visit the Changi Prison. It's free entrance for both tourist and inmates. Drop by the museum and chapel for some WW2 history and photos.

5. Visit the Siang Lim Si temple at Toa Payoh. Watch people get blessed. For the non-believers, you can count the number of deities inside ... it should occupy you for one hour.

6. Go to the East Coast Park for a swim and followed by satay-bee hoon at the hawker centre.

7. Take a train to Changi Airport. Buy two cups of coffee, find a comfortable pillar in the departure hall viewing gallery, watch planes take off and ask yourself why you are not on the plane heading for a vacation.

8. Take a map and walk through MacRitchie Reservoir.

9. Go Sim Lim Square and check out the latest laptops and hardware.

10. Go jogging from Kallang River to Benjamin Sheares Bridge.

11. Take a train from the Tanjong Pagar Railway Station. You can go over to Malaysia and back within a day.

12. Try water skiing at Pungol.

13. Make your own kite and fly them at the Marine South open field. After that, you can have a delicious steamboat dinner at the many steamboat restaurant nearby.

14. Go to the Flea Market at Sungei Road. Some people called it the Thieves Market because most of the things sold there are not bought by the merchants.

15. Go cycling at the Sembawang Park. Quiet and nice even on the weekends. Cycle to the end and you can see some of the big ships refuelling.

16. Bring your own pit and barbeque along the Upper Pierce Reservoir. But if you feel oily, don't jump into the reservoir, you may end up in Point no. 4.

17. Visit the Tekka Market at Serangoon Road for a variety of fruits and vegetables. There is a stall selling one of the best Bryani Chicken Rice I have ever tasted.

18. Go fishing at Pasir Ris Park.

19. Visit the Kinokuniya Bookstore. If your are dizzy after browing the library size bookstore, sit down for a cup of tea at the cafe inside the bookstore. If you feel like a bookworm that day, then head for the Borders bookstore for a second helping.

20. Visit the Sungei Buloh Nature Park. Bring binoculars and do bird watching. After that, you can buy some hydroponic vegetables home at the nearby farms.

Beach Vacations At A Modest Price

If you were given your choice of a two-week vacation on any locale whatsoever on the face of this earth, what would you choose?

It's the beach for me. There's nothing like lying on a sun-drenched beach under the cool shade of palm trees while watching the ocean gracefully and naturally sway to and fro. It would be nice having a waiter nearby to bring you an endless supply of pina colada cocktails and fresh seafood, but that's optional.

It doesn't matter where the beach is - Hawaii, Florida, France, the Bahamas, Greece, Spain or anywhere in the Pacific - as long as you can see the relaxing waves on the ocean and soak up the sun. It's a slice of heaven on earth.

Unfortunately, for lots of people, the prohibitive cost of staying at a beachfront hotel kills all dreams of a beach vacation. However, there are cost-effective alternatives that can help you save and still retain that beach front location. Try looking for beach vacation rentals.

Beach vacation rentals are usually someone's beach front home that they rent out to tourists and other visitors. They are clean, well-furnished and comfortable and deliciously close to the beach. Living in someone else's house also has its share of advantages over renting an expensive single room at a hotel. For one thing, you have more bedrooms to occupy, lots more room for entertaining and what-not, as well as kitchen facilities. These all translate into substantial savings especially for families with five members or more.

Looking for a suitable beach vacation rental is not as difficult as it may seem. The easiest way is to look for a real estate agency in the city you will be visiting since such agencies keep listings of available beach vacation rentals, complete with photographs, rental rates and other pertinent information. It's possible to find and communicate with these real estate agencies online.

Another way is to surf the city websites of the place that you plan to visit since these usually have business directories that list everything from the neighborhood barber to the fanciest restaurants in town. Of course, the real estate agents and agencies will be listed there as well and, if you're lucky, so too will a roster of available beach rentals.

Most beach rentals are for a week or less and, if you are planning to stay longer, you can probably get a discount on your rental rate. Some of these rentals even offer a staff that will cater to your every need.

Easy Tips For Running An Internet Home Business

The know how necessary for running an internet home business is really common sense and strong work ethic. With a few simple pointers, you could be well on your way to running a successful internet home business, and this article will provide the know-how.

First, it is important to allot time every day to manage your business. A home business can be a catch twenty-two. It allows you to be home with your family or simply to be comfortable as you work, but the distractions can be endless. As you start your home business, begin practicing a schedule by which you can ensure you spend enough time getting your business off the ground. If you schedule this time in just as you would schedule a dentist appointment, you are more likely to give it the priority it deserves.

Second, it is advisable to do a comprehensive spreadsheet on which you list each program you are involved in, the date it was started, the cost, summary description of each action you need to take to get the most from the program, date of any subscription renewal etc. This will allow you to manage implementation of the steps necessary to maximize the benefits available. This approach will also help you to manage cost, since you will be able to monitor subscription end date and close those programs that are not effective in a timely manner.

Third, always carry your card. If you dont have a card, create a business card for your internet home business. This is a great way to network and get the word out about your business. Leave a few at the local coffee shop or the hairdresser. Utilize your card as free advertising, and understand that only twenty percent of the people who get your card will go to your website. This means that self-advertising with a business card is a numbers game. Want a lot of hits on your site? Distribute a lot of cards. Give cards to friends and business associates to pass on to their clients.

Forth, network! Get to know other people running home businesses and utilize them for support and pointers. The more experience a person has, the more likely they are to relate to your particular situation. This advice can be invaluable. Chat rooms, websites, and local meetings can provide a wealth of information and motivation.

5 Best Party Beaches In The World

The idea of partying on the beach is universally appealing, conjuring up images of dancing from sunset to sunrise on golden sands, with bonfires, great music, crashing waves and cocktails in the mix.

From Ibiza to Miami, there are as many types of beach parties as there are party-people looking for a good time. From down and dirty dancing to celebrity-spotting socializing, read on for the 5 best party beaches in the world!

IBIZA, SPAIN

The name Ibiza has been synonymous with the phrase beach party ever since the late 80s when the former hangout of hippies and flower-children, metamorphosized into the party capital of the world. Stars, celebs and models all love to get down at the clubs dotted around this picturesque Spanish isle. The Playa den Bossa Beach is the longest stretch of beach on the island with its bars and cafs. The far end of the beach (away from Ibiza Town) is calmer, with less people and house music. But for the definitive Ibiza beach party, head to Bora Bora, half way along d'en Bossa beach. Ibiza is also known as a gay-friendly beach party destination.

MYKONOS, GREECE

With its welcoming locals and trendy beach bars oceanside, Mykonos is another great place to party on the sands. Head to Paradise Beach Bar, located right on the beach between the palm trees. Here the partying starts early - from 2 pm and goes on till sunrise the following day. This breathtakingly beautiful island is another favourite destination of the worlds fashionable party-set, so expect to enjoy celebrity-spotting while you dance the night away. Lots of places of historical and cultural interest, plus great tanning opportunities, mean youll never be bored while waiting for the fun to begin.

SOUTH BEACH, MIAMI

Where the beautiful people hang out South Beach offers all the partying youll ever need. Although not strictly speaking ON the beach, the numerous fabulous clubs sprinkled along this expensive coastline are so hot that they bring the beach atmosphere right inside. This is where the posh people party, but the good times only get under way from 11 pm, so strolling along the beach, dining out or having a drink in the earlier part of the evening is recommended to avoid arriving too early. Many top model agencies send scouts to South Beach - you never know who might spot you on one of the awesome dance floors. The beach itself is stunning, with white, baby-powder sands caressed by the Atlantic. Choosing the Right Light Bulbs

When shopping for light bulbs online or in a store, understanding some common lighting terminology you will encounter as well as the different types of bulbs that are available is helpful.

First, you will probably notice that there seem to be a million options in home lighting. The heat emitting bulbs to which most people are accustomed are called incandescent light bulbs, which use heat to produce light and waste a majority of the energy they consume in the in the process. Compact fluorescent lights, or CFLs, are fluorescent bulbs for use in standard fixtures which represent the home lighting version of the long used fluorescent tube lights. CFLs are rapidly gaining a stronghold on the lighting industry due to their significant energy conservation compared to incandescent bulbs. Halogen lighting is similarly energy efficient and produces very bright light, but the great deal of heat it produces makes it less desirable than fluorescent bulbs for many consumers.

If you have ever purchased a light bulb, or any electrical gadget for that matter, you have probably come across the term watts. A watt is a measurement of electricity, or the amount of work that can be accomplished using a given amount of electric current at a certain voltage. If you are replacing a standard incandescent bulb and are satisfied with the intensity of the light it produced, you can simply purchase a bulb with the same wattage. However, if you are replacing standard incandescent bulbs with more energy efficient compact fluorescent lighting, you will not need to purchase the same wattage as your old bulb. Why? Fluorescent bulbs are multiple times more efficient at utilizing electricity, and therefore require fewer watts to produce the same amount of light as a higher wattage incandescent bulb. For instance, you can replace a 75 watt incandescent bulb with a 20 watt fluorescent bulb, and achieve the same level of light output. The packaging of most CFLs denotes the equivalent incandescent wattage for your reference. Bear in mind that many light fixtures and lamps specify the maximum wattage bulb they support, and adherence to this specification is important for your safety.

While brightness levels for different rooms are largely a matter of personal preference, it helps to consider what level of lighting you prefer for specific applications when purchasing light bulbs. Many consumers utilize bright lighting in the kitchen for visibility, but dimmer ambient lighting in the living room for the atmosphere. You can use the bulbs already in your home to determine the appropriate wattage to purchase, either adjusting up for more brightness, down for less or staying with the same level.

You will also notice when purchasing light bulbs that the options span a wide range of prices. Compact fluorescent lights have a higher purchase price than incandescent bulbs, but are probably a better value when you consider the energy savings and longer life. Also, check to see if your utility company is offering a rebate or other incentive for switching to fluorescent lighting, as many are. Being educated on the pros and cons of different types of lighting that are available will help you make an educated decision for your household.

Home Theatre Speakers - What You Need To Know

Speaker types

There are four basic home theater speaker categories: towers, satellites, subwoofers, and center channels. A tower speaker is a tall, freestanding model capable of reproducing a full range of sound. Satellites, which can be used as both front or rear-channel (surround) speakers, are small, bass-limited models designed to be paired with a subwoofer - a dedicated speaker for reproducing both bass and the low-frequency-effects channel in Dolby Digital and DTS soundtracks. And a center channel speaker is a horizontally oriented satellite that's designed to reproduce dialog.

Freestanding vs. on-wall

In the past, home theater speakers were usually installed alongside big-screen TVs - either freestanding or placed on top of speaker stands. But many new models are on-wall designs that come with wall-mounting hardware. One advantage to these kinds of speakers is that they get positioned on walls where they don't take up any room space. A second advantage is that their slim, wall hugging design nicely complements flat-panel plasma and LCD TVs.

Do you really need a center channel?

With some systems - especially those built around a large, slim rear-projection TV - finding a place to put the center channel speaker can be a problem. Although you can get by without using one, it's not recommended - center channel speakers are specifically designed to reproduce voices. You'll find that movie dialog will sound much clearer when you use them. So instead of bypassing the center speaker or using the TV's built-in speakers as a center channel substitute (a terrible option, since the tonal balance of your TV's speakers isn't likely to match that of your other speakers), look for an alternative mounting method. Speaker wall mounts make a fine option, especially with flat-panel TVs. Most TV stands also include storage shelves that can hold a small center channel speaker.

Speaker connections. A variety of connectors can be found on the back of speakers.

A spring-clip connector is a plastic, spring-loaded clamp that's usually found on the back of inexpensive speakers. The connection provided by spring clips isn't as secure as other types, and they can only accept bare speaker wire.

Binding posts are a step-up connection option found on high-quality speakers. There are two types of binding posts: regular and five-way. Regular types accept both banana plug and spade-lug connectors on speaker cables. The connection they provide is very secure, and in some cases the connector is also gold-plated to prevent oxidation - a condition that can potentially degrade performance. And five-way binding posts, which accept bare wire and pin-type connectors in addition to banana plugs and spade lugs, offer even more hookup flexibility than regular types.

In-wall and in-ceiling speaker + and

For those who prefer to keep their audio/video equipment out of sight, in-wall and in-ceiling speakers make a great alternative to regular models. Although the sound quality of in-wall and in-ceiling models is generally a notch below that of regular speakers, they can be mounted inside of cutout cavities in the walls or ceiling of your room where they won't take up any space. Both types are also designed to contain vibrations within the cabinet, so you won't have to worry about rattling the walls during action movies. Installation of in-wall and in-ceiling speakers involves running wires through the walls and/or ceiling of your home. If you're an experienced DIY type, you might be up to that task, but for most people it's best left to a custom installer.

Surround speaker considerations: direct-radiating, dipolar, and bipolar There are several options to consider when choosing surround sound speakers for your system.

Direct-radiating models fire sound directly out from the speaker's front baffle toward the listener's ears. These are a good all-purpose surround sound speaker choice since their clear, focused dispersion pattern can accurately convey the directional sound effect pans in DVD soundtracks.

Dipolar models radiate sound from both the speaker's back and front, with the opposing driver sets wired out-of-phase with each other. This design offers a more diffuse, spacious sound than a direct-radiating model while retaining some of the latter's focused dispersion characteristics. (Dipolar models are favored for THX-certified designs specifically because of their diffuse sound, which more accurately resembles what you'd hear in a real movie theater.)

Bipolar models also radiate sound from the front and back, except that in this case both sets of drivers are wired in-phase with one another. This design allows a bipolar speaker to provide the best of both worlds: a direct-radiator's clarity and focus, and a dipole's spaciousness.

What is frequency response, and what should I look for?

The range of audio frequencies that a speaker can reproduce is known as its frequency response. Human hearing extends from 20 Hz to 20 kHz (20,000 Hz) - a span that few models are able to cover fully. The bass frequencies at the bottom of the range (approximately 20-120 Hz) are the most difficult for a speaker to cover. Satellites don't attempt it at all, but instead pass the task off to a subwoofer - a dedicated bass speaker with drivers large enough to move the massive quantity of air needed to reproduce low frequencies. Since tower speakers usually contain one or more woofers, they generally deliver decent bass. But if you're shopping for tower speakers - especially if you plan to use one in a system where there's no subwoofer - make a point of checking the low end of its frequency response specification. And remember that not all measurements are the same. For example, the bass response of a speaker spec'd at 6 dB at 40 Hz probably won't sound as full as one that measures 3 dB at 40 Hz.

Speaker impedance and selection

Most new speakers are designed to be compatible with a wide range of receivers and audio amplifiers, so specifications like impedance-the measure of a speaker's resistance to electrical power flowing through it as specified in Ohms-generally aren't things you need to worry too much about. But what you should know is that an amplifier has to work harder to drive a speaker with a lower impedance rating than one with a higher rating. Say that your receiver is rated to deliver 100 watts into an 8-ohm load. If your speakers have an 8-Ohm impedance spec, then you aren't likely to encounter any problems. But if your speakers' specified impedance is 4 ohms or less, the chances for that same receiver to overheat and shut down will be increased.

Placement: the final frontier

Many people tend to be casual about where they put their speakers; more often than not, they get shoved into any old space where it's convenient. But speaker placement becomes crucial when setting up a home theater system. You'll want the positioning of surround sound effects in your room to correspond to what's happening on screen, and that will only happen if speakers are set up properly.

Front channel towers or satellite models on stands should ideally be placed equidistant from the TV's sides and about three feet out from the front wall. This setup will heighten imaging and reduce any sound-muddying room reinforcement effects. And your subwoofer should be pushed into a corner of the room to permit the sound-reinforcing effect of adjacent walls to strengthen the bass. While placement guidelines for surround speakers are less strict than those for front speakers, installing them in a high position at the sides and slightly behind the listening area will usually enhance surround sound envelopment.

Tax Credits for Energy Efficient Air Conditioning In Your Home

The government often tries to influence our behavior through taxes. The tax credit for new energy efficient cooling systems in our homes is one example.

Tax Credits for Energy Efficient Air Conditioning In Your Home

As part of the provisions in the Energy Policy Act 2005, homeowners are entitled to claim tax credits on use of a few energy saving items. They include the use of energy saving windows, doors, roofing, furnace and boiler, water heater and air conditioner. As energy becomes scarcer by the day, it is essential to conserve as much energy as possible. The government, by way of giving tax credits, also encourages using alternate sources of energy.

Using energy efficient air conditioning systems is one of the items that qualify for tax credit. Individuals who install this type of air conditioner are eligible for a tax credit of up to $300. The models that qualify are obviously costlier than the ordinary ones. However, this calculation would show that it is advisable to install a new energy saving air conditioner. Even if you save just $10 a month on average by way of electricity bills it comes to $120 for a year. Add to that the tax credit of $300, your net saving is $420. This amount should be good enough to prod a homeowner into buying an energy efficient air-conditioner.

Of course, not all air conditioners are eligible for a tax credit. Even, not all Energy Star air conditioners qualify, only some do. Very efficient central air conditioners qualify for the tax credit if they meet the following criteria:

1. The Energy Efficiency Ratio has to be 13.0 or higher (in some states its 12.5).

2. Certified technician needs to install the equipment.

3. The Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) has to be 15.

SEER measures performance throughout the season and EER measures performance on a very hot day. Central Air conditioning systems must meet the standards set by the Consortium of Energy Efficiency (CEE). The specifications for each state vary slightly.

The tax credit for energy efficient cooling systems in our home is just another step in saving money on both your energy bill and taxes. Since tax credits are reduced from the actual amount of tax you owe, not your gross income, you should strongly consider taking advantage of this one.

Tips For Traveling With Your Dog

Taking your dog with you when you travel, whether you go by land, air or sea, can present real problems. I know - I do 100k miles a year, and most of them I get to take Beck with me. It's worth the extra hassle, no question. But what tips can I offer you?

Air travel with your dog

It takes most dogs a long time to get used to traveling by plane. It took Beck about 6 flights before he stopped getting stressed about it. The big thing is to make sure your dog knows that it's just a temporary thing - to a woofer, a flight can seem to last forever! Each airline has their own set of rules - you need to check these before the flight. No good turning up and finding you are denied access to the plane because you didn't bone up on the regs!

Number one tip is - get a vet to sign a health certificate for your dog certifying that he has no diseases. Also make sure the dog is up to scratch on his anti-flea programme, and bring documentary evidence with you if you can. No airline wants a flea infested plane! Check his dog tags. Make sure YOUR contact details are there and easy to read. If you do get separated, this ensures you'll be re-united fast. For the same reason, you carry a photo of your dog in your wallet.

Number 2 tip - no food for Fido for 6 hours before the flight, and no water for 2 hours before. We wouldn't want any nasty 'accidents' now, would we???!!! Also put a note on his crate saying what his eating and drinking needs are - if the flight gets delayed, the ground staff will have a duty to live up to these.

Number 3 tip - buy a crate big enough for your dog to stand up in. Only buy custom made crates from your pet shop. Buy one that is designed for the rigors of air transport. NEVER try to 'get by' with any old crate. Trust me - your dog will thank you for the gift! Also remember that the airline you are using may have specific requirements for cases that go in the hold. Check the livestock regs.

Car Travel with your Dog

Tip 1 - Just like air travel, make sure your dog has all his ID with him, and you carry a photo. Even in the car, keep him leashed. Dogs have been known to get excited and leap out the window. Bad things happen on the freeway!

Tip 2 - Always book your hotel or motel ahead of time. If they don't allow dogs, you will be turned away whether or not you have a booking. I learned this the hard way with Beck - sleeping in a car ain't fun!

Tip 3 - acclimatization. Get your dog used to trips - start out with short trips, and gradually extend them. Let him experience the aircon, and maybe even stick his head out the window (dogs love this - make sure he's on the leash first, and that there is no contra traffic!)

These tips have enabled Beck and I to enjoy many great trips together, and believe me, it's nice to have some company on those long empty miles! If you like Beck, please vote for him on the petmillions.com contest at Vote for Beck in the petmillions contest!

Terry Hanson is in sales, but doesn't like to be separated from his pooch Beck, who is entered in the http://www.petmillions.com/ pet contest. Phyllis Blog50629
